| | Great Value Award by Pureoverclock | | | SAPPHIRE HD5750 1GB GDDR5 PCIE | AMD's push to bring a 40nm GPU to the market was a smart move, and beating Nvidia to the punch was icing on the cake for the embattled company. Following their highly successful 4800 series cards, the 5700 series cards should help them continue the trend, particularly for gamers on a budget that want good performance without spending a fortune.
The Sapphire Radeon 5750 is a card that offers a very compelling argument to consumers; it offers very respectable performance in most of today's hottest games, runs cool and quiet, draws little power, and is priced very attractively; that is an excellent combination regardless how you look at it.
Sapphire's Radeon 5750 is an impressive little card, and while it can't run with the big dogs, it does offer excellent value for gamers on a budget who are looking for performance on the cheap. Getting a free, yet-to-be-released DX11 game title in DiRT 2 is icing on the cake, and we have no hesitation recommending this card.

| | Recommended & Good Value Award by Bigbruin | | | SAPPHIRE HD5750 1GB GDDR5 PCIE | The Sapphire Radeon HD5750 1GB graphics card does alot of things better than you might expect from a 'mid-level' card. This isn't a top of the line gaming card, but it is does offer enough muscle to make games enjoyable even with the settings turned up pretty high.
On top of the performance, it ran cool, quiet, and didn't tax the electric meter mush at all. In addition to being a good choice for a budget conscious gaming rig, these attributes make it appealing for an HTPC.
Considering all the positive points the Sapphire Radeon HD5750 1GB graphics card has going for it, it earns the Bigbruin.com "Recommended" award. And considering it does all of this for $135, it has to reel in a "Good Value" award as well.

| | Value Award by Legit Reviews | | | SAPPHIRE HD5750 1GB GDDR5 PCIE | The Sapphire Radeon HD 5750 was a very impressive card. The fact that it retails for $129 and comes with a custom GPU cooler and Colin McRae: DiRT 2 for that price and all the DirectX 11 features is amazing. Also being able to run three monitors from a $129 graphics card for ATI Eyefinity is nice to have for down the road. If you wanted to add that to your current PC with an old graphics card you'd have to purchase something like the Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital Edition for $288.08 and then you are still stuck with an old graphics card. AMD really has created some great graphics cards this time around and they all have amazing features. | |
|
| | Best Value and Highly Recommende Award by Pro-Clockers | | | SAPPHIRE HD5750 1GB GDDR5 PCIE | For someone on a modest budget and refuse to put there last dollar a high cost GPU the HD 5750 really should be something to consider. And not only do you get performance but you get new features as well. The first feature that has everyone talking is the Eyefinity benefit. With the right amount of monitor along with the right connection you have a 3D gaming bonanza waiting to happen. Three monitors given you the vision of being inside the games is the bomb for a lack of words.
We like and like it a lot. It is able to do what most of us would want it to do. And that is to play a few games, watch some high definition videos and whatever else we like to do. We give the Sapphire HD 5750 two awards: Best Value and Highly Recommended.

| | Sapphire HD 5750 1 GB | | Reviewed by Elite Bastards | | SAPPHIRE HD5750 1GB GDDR5 PCIE | The inclusion of Eyefinity support on these new boards rather than leaving it as a high-end only feature is also good to see, adding a little further to the feeling of value generated by these parts. In short then, if you're looking for a new graphics board to usher you into the DirectX 11 era without either overly skimping on performance or breaking the bank, then either of these offerings, and in particular Sapphire's Radeon HD 5770, would be very much worthy of your consideration. For doing their bit to bring DirectX 11 to the masses, both of these cards also get to come away with our Elite Bastards innovation award in celebration. | |
|
| | Sapphire HD 5750 1 GB | | Reviewed by DriverHeaven.net | | SAPPHIRE HD5750 1GB GDDR5 PCIE | For the 5750 it is a slightly easier choice to make. Sapphire gives us an enhanced cooler, full bundle and the Dirt 2 voucher. XFX offer the reference design and a very basic bundle. Once again it could come down to price on the day of purchase but we feel the Sapphire card offers better value and more desirable thermal performance. | |
|
| | Must Have Award by Modders-Inc | | | SAPPHIRE HD5750 1GB GDDR5 PCIE | The Sapphire Radeon 5750 did perform much better than I had expected it to. When comparing it against the 4000 series cards we could see that it was a very nice jump in performance, while others stayed very close to the new mid-range low end card. But is it worth the upgrade? I would have to say that if you are on the lower end of the 4000 series cards then yes you need to get it. If you happen to be in the 4800 level then I would say does the new features means enough for you to upgrade.
The ATI Eyefinity technology, ATI Stream technology, and the full support for Microsoft DirectX® 11 does make this a card and the 5000 series of Radeon cards a very desirable card to have.
|
| | Editor's Choice by AMDZone | | | SAPPHIRE HD5750 1GB GDDR5 PCIE | ATI seems to be on a roll and unlike Nvidia it is not slowing down. How quickly they've moved to DX11 cards for almost their entire product lineup is very impressive. Ultimately it looks like the 5770 is about on par with the 4870 and the 5750 is just above the Radeon 4850. Very impressive for mid-range cards that also tout DX11 support, plenty of display ports and EyeFinity technology, and very lower power idle and load cards.
The main feature is more than likely the lower power draw which is great. But if you're starting from scratch or running a lower end card these are the ones to get.
