SAPPHIRE TOXIC HD 3870 512MB GDDR4 PCI-E
I was blown away when I was proven wrong by the speeds, and performance of the GPU core and Memory. Vapor-X, the cooler that could is doing very well on its own. Toxic consumes very little power when compared to a lot of other card offerings out there and produces very little heat thanks to the new Vapor-X cooler and VCT. The Toxic HD3870 has to be one of the best ATI cards out now as far as the performance to price ratio goes.

Thanks to this the Toxic 3870 is also overclocked out of the box with 512MB of GDDR4 memory at 1152Mhz (2.3GHz effective) and the GPU running at 800MHz. Sapphire Radeon HD 3870 Toxic this is easily one of the better 3870 cards we've seen. The bundles are amazing both with the software bundle of 3DMark, PowerDVD, and the Black Box and the HDMI cable is a nice twist as well.

SAPPHIRE TOXIC HD 3870 512MB GDDR4 PCI-E
At $189.99 at NewEgg, the HD3870 is nearly half the price of the $379.99 8800GTX. For as small as the performance gap is between the two cards in Linux, Sapphire's Radeon HD3870 Toxic is by far the best bang for the buck and won't let users down. Blazing performance Vapor-X technology heatsinks keeps the card cool in a single slot form factor Best bang for the buck

SAPPHIRE TOXIC HD 3870 512MB GDDR4 PCI-E
There's nothing more dissatisfying than when everything in a computer case is silenced except the video card. Water cooling is always an option, but there's always a certain level of risk with it. Sapphire has answered this question with the Radeon HD3870 ULTIMATE video card. The Sapphire Radeon HD3870 Ultimate, which clocked only slightly slower, manages to keep up with its faster counterpart very well, and does so with a passive cooling solution

SAPPHIRE TOXIC HD 3870 512MB GDDR4 PCI-E
I was really impressed with the Sapphire 3870 Toxic video card. The bottom line is the 3870 is a great mid-range GPU and Sapphire has only added to that greatness. The Vapor-X increases the potential overclocking ability of the card, while keeping the card cool and quiet, all while only using one slot. I'm very impressed with the Sapphire 3870 Toxic card and fully recommend it.

SAPPHIRE TOXIC HD 3870 512MB GDDR4 PCI-E
This is one of most fully-featured cards on the market with full HDMI compatibility HD decoding among a myriad of other features. We have reviewed quite a few graphics cards here at Hardware Canucks and this is the first one to include a HDMI cable. While it may not be up to the picture quality standards seen with the Cobalt Cable Ultimate HDMI cable, I was using on my Pioneer TV, it was definitely better than some of the generic junk I have tried in the past. We find that Vapor-X is a hell of a technology if implemented properly so this heatsink gets our Dam Innovative Award.

SAPPHIRE TOXIC HD 3870 512MB GDDR4 PCI-E
The Toxic Vapor-X cooler offers cooling comparable to dual-slot solutions through vapor chamber technology, which gives Sapphire the flexibility to tinker with the card's clock speeds, running them a bit higher than the reference specification. With it's higher than reference clock speeds, good bundle, and single-slot cooler, the Sapphire Radeon HD 3870 Toxic 512MB is one of the most attractive Radeon HD 3870 cards available.

SAPPHIRE TOXIC HD 3870 512MB GDDR4 PCI-E
Even when the fan was running at 100% on the test bench, during heavy testing, it was much, much more quite than any dual slot cooler I have tested. After all the testing and actual game play with the Sapphire HD3870 Toxic edition I can say that it kicks ass. The performance for a single slot card is great and maybe be hard to beat anytime soon.

SAPPHIRE TOXIC HD 3870 512MB GDDR4 PCI-E
The Toxic HD 3870 uses a single slot cooler that would be a godsend for those that are tight on space. The Sapphire Toxic 3870 is a pretty special card when it comes to the price-to-performance ratio. The ability to play any games at high settings and at higher resolutions is a godsend to most of us.
