When the GPRO 6200/4200 are connected through DisplayPort 1.2 to DisplayPort 1.2 on monitors, you can setup up to 6 x 4K outputs (GPRO 6200) and 4 x 4K outputs (GPRO 4200)

Below are few a suggested fixes that you can follow if you experience issues when driving 3 x 4K@30Hz monitors through GPRO 6200/4200:

  1. Check that the DisplayPort 1.2 in the confirmed configuration in monitor settings
  2. The length of DisplayPort to DisplayPort cables should up to 2m in length.
  3. The DisplayPort to DisplayPort cables must support DisplayPort 1.2. If additional dongles of Mini-DisplayPort to DisplayPort are being used, make sure the dongles meet DisplayPort 1.2 specifications
  4. Please download and install the latest manufacturer’s drivers
  • GPRO 6200/4200 commercial graphics series are designed with DisplayPort output connectivity. For optimal connectivity for solutions with 3 or more displays, we recommend using DisplayPort connectivity and not using any dongles for signal transfer
  • GPRO 6200/4200 commercial graphics series use 2 passive dongles to connect displays. To connect 3 or more displays, either DisplayPort or active dongles are required to drive all the displays. Active dongles are DisplayPort to DVI/HDMI.
  • If dongles must be used for maximum displays connection, such as DisplayPort to DVI/HDMI , please following connection requirements a) GPRO 6200 Commercial Graphics Series: 2 passive dongles + 4 active connections (Active connections can be direct DisplayPort or active dongles) b) GPRO 4200 Commercial Graphics Series: 2 passive dongles + 2 active connections (Active connections can be direct DisplayPort or active dongles)

The below data results have been tested under DisplayPort configuration only

  • GPRO 8200: Supports 4 x 4K Displays
  • GPRO 6200: Supports 6 x 4K Displays
  • GPRO 4300/4200: Supports 4 x 4K Displays
  • GPRO 4300DP/2200: Supports 2 x 4K Displays

Currently GPRO 8200/6200/4300/4200/2200 Commercial Graphics Series all feature a (Mini) DisplayPort output interface. Monitors’ featuring DisplayPort connectivity will be the optimal choice. For monitors without DisplayPort connectivity, you will need a dongle to enable signal transfer. Please note, resolutions will vary depending on the specifications of the monitor and connecting interface.

  1. With the SAPPHIRE Commercial Graphics Series, you can install multiple cards inside a single system to gain the maximum number of extended mode monitors
  2. When multiple GPRO 8200/6200/4300/4200/2200 Graphics cards are installed in single system to obtain maximum number of extended mode monitors, you can also have single large surface displays by using 3rd party software such as Dataton Watchout, Scala, Ventuz and etc… …
  3. AMD Eyefinity does not support eyefinity single large surface mode across multiple graphics. It can only be performed within one single graphics card. Multiple eyefinity groups can be set up for multiple graphics cards being used.
  4. With the GPRO 6200 using 6 outputs configurations, AMD Eyefinity Technology can only support the following eyefinity groups:
    *Landscape Mode: 2x1, 1x2, 2x2, 3x1, 1x3, 4x1, 5x1, 1x5, 3x2
    *Portrait Mode: 2x1, 1x2, 2x2, 3x1, 1x3, 1x4, 5x1, 1x5, 2x3
